| CA332123 CA332123 PDF Although protection circuitry has been designed into this device, proper precautions should be taken to avoid exposure to electrostatic discharge (ESD) during handling and mounting. Lucent Technologies Microelectronics Group employs a human-body model (HBM) and a charged-device model (CDM) for ESD susceptibility testing and protection design evaluation. ESD voltage thresholds are dependent on the circuit parameters used to define the model. No industry-wide standard has been adopted for CDM. However, a standard HBM (resistance = 1500 Ω, capacitance = 100 pF) is widely used and, therefore, can be used for comparison purposes. The HBM ESD threshold presented here was obtained by using these circuit parameters: CA332123 Datasheet The on-chip power-management circuitry reduces the average thermistor current to minimize errors due to thermistor self-heating. Between conversions, the MAX6691 falls into a 10µA (max) sleep mode, where the voltage reference is disabled and the supply cur- rent is at its minimum. CA332123 Suppliers © 2000 Xilinx, Inc. This device contains circuitry to protect against damage due to high static voltages or electric fields; however, it is advised that normal precautions be taken to avoid applica- tion of any voltage higher than maximum rated voltages to this highCimpedance circuit. For proper operation, it is recommended that Vin and Vout be constrained to the range VSS (Vin or Vout) VDD. Unused inputs must always be tied to an appropriate logic voltage level (e.g., V SS, VDD, VLS, or VAG). Power ground. High current return for the low-side driver and power MOSFET. Connect PGND with large copper areas to the input and output supply returns, and negative terminals of the input and output capacitors. A single point connection to AGND is recommended. The largest component is the resistor noise EnR (60% of the total noise). A lower resistor value decreases resistor noise as a function of R, but it also lowers the desired signal gain as a direct function of R. Thus, lowering R reduces the signal-to-noise ratio at the output which shows that the feedback resistor should be as large as possible. The noise contribution due to R2 can be decreased by raising the value of C2 (lowering f2) but this reduces signal bandwidth. The SPX2808 is a low power, positive voltage regulator. This device is an excellent choice for use in battery-powered applications such as cordless telephones, radio control systems, and portable computers. The SPX2808 features offers very low quiescent currents (0.4mA), and very low drop output voltage (50mV at light load and 450mV at 300mA). The SPX2808 is offered in a 3-pin SOT-223 and SOT-89 package. |
